Is this 100% confirmed?

2.) 04 Jul 2014
What SP has actually said is that he will be leaving.

Although that is pedantry, as essentially it amounts to the same thing, we won't see Rafik again.

3.) 04 Jul 2014
I know I may be in a bit of a minority here but I feel that we should have had SP take a look at Djebbour and made a decision in January.

I get that he was disruptive but if he scores goals, which he has proven he can elsewhere then why not give him a final warning, see how he got on and as an "official" player, we could have earned a few quid if sold in January.

Has there been any news on Abdoun? I would like to see him stay and be given more of a chance. Similar to above, give him to January to prove his worth and if not, we have cover so ship him out.

{Ed034's Note - the guy strolls around, nit bothered, turns up late and is the exact opposite of what pearce is trying to create.
his wages are huge and with pearce gettin rid, he is setting a great example that no matter who you are, what you have done or how big you think you are, nobody is bigger than the club.
I dont understand why fans want to give this guy another chance. he doenst care about us or our club. he has no respect for any of his fellow team mates, yet you think he should be given another chance.
Get rid and get players who want to play for us

4.) 04 Jul 2014
That is why Directors / Owners should not get involved with transfers, recommended by friends or not.

{Ed034's Note - its been said over and over again, by both fawaz and bd, that fawaz does not interfere.
this has been done to death so any, so any post relating to this will not be added from now on, unless news comes out elsewhere

5.) 04 Jul 2014
I'm 100% sure SP would of looked at him and assessed the situation to see if it could be recovered.

6.) 04 Jul 2014
If we've had to pay some of his contract up and then he goes to another club for free it sucks. If he weren't good enough could have loaned him out seems theirs clubs abroad after him they could have payed his wages. So As I understand we paid fee of around 1.5m for him then approximately 30k a week and then we pay his contract up to let him go for free it sucks. Bad business

{Ed034's Note - we havnt paid it up in full. if i and you know this is bad business, i would say it is safe to say that the club know it too. by agreeing a pay off we have saved a percentage of his wages

Ed, I'm not "in the know" at all and I can only go from what I read or in the press so I cannot comment on what you're saying as you are more ITK than I could ever be.

What I'm suggesting is that if SP had a go at 're-educating' Djebbour and it failed then fine but what if SP could turn him around, get him in to the ways of NFFC and perform to a level we know he can?

NFFC is in my blood, I was born in Nottingham and although I no longer live there, I still love the city so of course, I am passionate about the club as is any born and bred Reds fan but do you really expect a foreign national to be? I admit, they should have some pride in the team for which they play and be paid by and from reports, none of this is evident but could it be instilled by SP? I have doubts but to pass on quality so easily, it's a bit frustrating.

Like I said before, I know I'm in the minority on this and perhaps I'm just a bit soft but like you all on this forum, I want to see the Reds play once again at the highest levels with the best possible players on the pitch

{Ed034's Note - why should a player who has made it obvious he thinks he is bigger than us, has disrepected fans, management and his fellow team mates, who does not want to play for us and doesnt care about, be given another chance??
i am not sure why you have explained you passion for the club, as i have not questionned it and never would.
djebbour is a disruption in the changing rooms and his attitude towards everyone is a disgrace. that is from within the changing rooms itself.
it would be great for it to work like you said and i am sure if pearce thought it was possible to bothg change him and then intergrate him back in, he would, but his decision shows you he can't.
For the good of the club and the squad, he is being got rid of

8.) 04 Jul 2014
I originally was vying for Rafik to be given a chance, but I have to agree with Ed here. It sounds to me like he really is a difficult character to deal with and completely disrupts the dressing room harmony. From what I can gather this is not something new judging by his history elsewhere. It's painful to take (financially) but I for one am really glad to see the back of him.

9.) 04 Jul 2014
I'm all for the good of the club and if it's your sources from inside the dressing room that are passing on this information and that the consensus is that he could not be reintegrated then yes, I would have shipped him off too. I've not seen any reports from the club or from any ITK people saying that the club have tried with Djebbour but it's not something that would come out freely as it puts the club in a bad light.

Reports kind of give the impression that BD judged Djebbour and then froze him out and didn't try to resolve the issues and knock the ego out of him. Perhaps he did but like I said, reports like this don't get released!

I'm not having a pop and please don't think I thought you were questioning my passion for the club because I wasn't.

Whilst you're commenting, any news as to what will be happening with Abdoun? Was he as bad as Djebbour or will he still be here come the first game?

{Ed034's Note - abdoun and forest are working on abdoun leaving.
waht i have said is directly from the changing room and believe me, he is no good for the squad.
gary brazil froze him from the squad becasue of various issues.
pearce is trying to make the clun become one and this is one way of helping to achive that

10.) 04 Jul 2014
Ed, it seems you have wet our appetites for gossip with your "direct from the dressing room" statement. Any chance you can give us some detail on what he has done? I'm not asking for names, just a couple of examples of why he is not right for us? Would help me (and others) understand why he's been despatched.

{Ed034's Note - constantly late, lazy, ignorant. Lots of little things, which add up

11.) 04 Jul 2014
Are either of the Algerians in Nottingham?

12.) 04 Jul 2014
Good riddance. He has been disruptive at almost every club he has played at. You can't train that out of someone. Let him go back to some tin pot league and play the big-time Charlie, it's obviously what he's used to and what he wants to do.

13.) 04 Jul 2014
There are too many mercenary players to date there used to be the journeymen who just went to the highest bidder, they played to earn their next contract. The mercenaries these days wait for a big signing and take a huge fee. RD was interested only in this signing fee I believe the championship to be the most physical and hardest work a pro footballer will experience. These players are no good to have around SP will want solidarity and we know Fawaz wants players who want to turn out for the club and give their everything or they are welcome to leave. Ethics that should reverberate throughout the club. Any player who threatens to disrupt morale should be offloaded for the benefit of the club.

14.) 04 Jul 2014
Had to go no doubt although Billy Davies telling other players not to pass to him (rumour I heard) would have not made him have the best attitude. All round mistake and as a hardened fan even I can partly understand his attitude. Hardly a warm welcome if these rumours are/were true. Sure the cash has eased it for him somewhat.

{Ed034's Note - hahahaha one of the funniest rumours I've heard. No point really adding the bit about that not giving him the best attitude because there is no chance whatsoever that would happen hahahaha

15.) 05 Jul 2014
Billy might have been a lot of things but telling players not to pass to Rafik?

16.) 05 Jul 2014
So Ed, this is not a valid point in regards to the guy leaving? Done to death yes, answers none, I guess he just walked into the club, created a contract of his own desire, caused trouble and fuffed off with a wad of cash. Glad you're ready to forgive and forget this and move on from this boring subject as am i, but it is farcical & we rarely any get answers anywhere else than on here. Great Site.

{Ed034's Note - the 'fawaz signs players' subject has been done to death. So it won't be going up.
