Rumour going about we have enquired about Max Gradel? But
Looks like we going to lose out to Bournemouth again! He is the kind of player we should be getting in!

Social media Ed? This is a rumour page is it not? We have shown interest in him in the past!

{Ed034's Note - it is and one which had not had this rumour on for a long time, hence me asking, so put your dummy back in.
We can only lose out to Bournemouth 'again' if we have gone in for him. A rumour from a fan, on a social media site, is not proof of this. There for you coming on with your usual negativity, based on this, is a bit childish really.

Steve McClaren had a deal in place to sign him before he went abroad. That was one of the reasons why his relationship with the club fell apart.

He had agreed a fee and wages with the player, but was told to renegotiate and try to get him for less.
He was not the only one, either. Same thing happened with one or two players.
Always felt a bit for McClaren because the signings he made were his squad players.
The deals for all the match winners and creative players he had lined up never got done.

{Ed034's Note - that was a couple if years back, so I don't see how we have missed out on him to Bournemouth on this occasion, if Pearce has not gone in for him

I read in paper couple of days ago that Bournemouth wanted him but he was holding out for a prem club so can't see either if us getting him
