All this HL talk is getting beyond a joke now yes he's a good player but not the be all and end all, all this speculation must be starting to take its toll on the squad, just needs sorting once and for so all parties can move on which ever way it goes, I don't think he will be the difference between going up or not, valued player yes not devastating if he does go come on forest get it sorted.

Doesn't matter though unless a suitable bid is received. And ultimately I don't think burnley will pay it. They want value for money and we all know that generally doesn't exist anymore

Is Ian Baker a Derby journalist.

There has not been a suitable bid for Lansbury to my knowledge. Until there is we have a good player who will want to play well to attract one. What better motivation for a player than to attract Premier clubs interest?

An ideal situation would be for Henri to sign a one year extension. If we don't go up this year he should get a release clause in that contract in the region of 5million (i think wed be happy to get that). I think Nick Powell on loan would then be the perfect replacement. Just want to say also that I've been following this site for a long time, great work ED ( my girlfriend hates the fact that its usually the first thing I check in the morning!)

It makes me wonder why bigger clubs have not come in for him. is it he's not good enough for good Premiership teams
