Morning fellow red dogs.
I'm sure you all agree it's been a great summer and start to the season since a lot if our boyhood hero, Stuart Pearce, took over.
With the noise coming out that there is likely to be no more incomings, I've set a poll up asking who you believe to be our best signing so far.
Please vote. you reds!!

1.) 30 Aug 2014
Best signing stuart pearce and his backroom staff

2.) 30 Aug 2014
Sorry ed but I can't vote on this one-its impossible, when you go down that list and evaluate the value to the team of each player and what we paid for them its a very tricky one. They are all great signings and all look great value- maybe you should try a poll for our worst signing this season? Oh hang on, we havnt made any bad signings!! I'll challenge anyone to pick a major fault with any of our signings the only thing i'd question is Laing? i'm sure he was signed for his potential but only signed a one or two year deal? Bit of a risk that we develop him then lose him on the cheap, or is he that young that if that happened it would be sent to a tribunal? You redddsss!!

I think Mancienne was a really good addition, doesn't miss much at the back, good passer, great awareness

4.) 30 Aug 2014
Mancienne for me as well, seemed to win everything today. To be fair we defended really well as a team

5.) 30 Aug 2014
Yes, Mancienne for me to. Been so composed and willing to throw himself into anything to stop opposition scoring.

6.) 30 Aug 2014
Mancienne for me shows the qualities of a real professional, these big time charlies who want to go to a big team. MM rolled his sleeves up to prove himself not too big for the game and he really has a good engine.

7.) 31 Aug 2014
They've all been great signings and during the season will have big parts to play, but for me at the moment it's Mancienne, he's been the difference between drawing or losing one or two games this season

8.) 31 Aug 2014
Anyone know when the manager of the month is announced?

9.) 31 Aug 2014
I think there will be a few more coming in tomm? And a few leaving as well.

10.) 31 Aug 2014
Mancienne agreed. That new goalie (lol) we have on loan from Newcastle saved us two points with that amazing late save yesterdy. They gave us 3.5mil and paid his wages for the season not a bad deal ;-)

11.) 31 Aug 2014
Ill announce it now.
Arise Sir Stuart

We've had good starts before and it does feel different this season- as though it's our time.
I have a couple of concerns though.
1) whether we win promotion or not (I believe we will as I say this is our time)
Darlow leaving is going to be a massive, massive loss- how do we replace that?
I've not seen as good a keeper since Steve Sutton.
We need to pull the plug on it somehow I've no idea how but we just do! Lol
2) How will Fawaz react when our bad patch comes along (& let's face it we probably will hit one- most teams do) he can be a little impatient from what we've/I've seen? We need to ride out any drops in form lest we'll lose our best shot at going up and staying up.
We have everything in place, real stability and we need to keep our eyes on the prize

Mancienne for me, Tesche looks a gud player wot I saw of him yesterday, maybe we could loan Darlow again next season I can't see Tim Krul being shifted quite yet unless they sell him COYR

14.) 31 Aug 2014
I see a lot of people are saying mancienne as our best signing, I am finding it hard to disagree. but I am still going to edge towards keeping Lansbury as the best signing/bit of business forest have done this window. I think he will be to us how lampard was to Chelsea and bag 15+ goals this season. just what we need from the midfield, to chip in with vital goals.

To be fair NottsLoyal, Crossley and Beasant were pretty darn good keepers for us post Sutton.
