Accord to the Daily Fail Stuart Pearce is coming under increasing scrutiny, Unusually John McGovern was at training on Tuesday. Players are being lobbied as to their feelings about the present situation. Mr Lalou Tifrit who apparently is Fawaz's personal representative is looking into the sitauation.

It may not be that SP is being watched, but rather he is being supported, these people might be there because the players are not supporting the manager and deliberately underperforming?Just a wild guess.

Speaks of unrest to me and sounds like a pretty shabby way of addressing it.

Whenever a new leader appears there are always those who preferred what was there before and get stuck back in time. It could be that some of the players don't like SP's style and his moves so far. They play well in training but show their displeasure or opposition by not performing in matches. They might not like all the new blokes being brought in and think they have rights since they were established already in the club and the team.I have a feeling the more new players come in the better them team will become. It's like a change of State or Direction. Change makes some people retreat into what was there before "the good old days" etc. If this resentment is in some players' heads then they won't perform.

Hmm
I dunno BSR- I get what you're sayin like but the vast majority of SP's starting XI are new players brought in by the current gaffer.
Now shoot me at will BUT psycho at the helm or not I'd be pushing for more time here- he's had 5, 6 months in the job and let's face it everything needed changing not just playing staff.
Add to that the fact that if we started average, had a poor spell then picked up around now nobody would even be talking about a new gaffer?!?
The perfect start is almost what's causing this now because everyone expected it to carry on all season- only it can't it's not realistic!!
Do we really think ANY NEW GAFFER could turn it around?? It's crazy we need time to build and grow not yet ANOTHER change- time and a slow building process are what gets ALL clubs promoted not chopping n changing!!
Let's keep getting behind um eh fellow red dogs?!? We've kept the faith this long!!

If they sack SP I will seriously reconsider renewing my season ticket next season. When he was appointed it felt like everything was starting to fall into place. A long term plan. Stability. All the ingredients to take us back to where we belong. You can't possibly expect Rome to be built in a day. He needs the time he was promised. Be judged at the end of that time. Without a doubt he has bought quality players in. Players like Lansbury need to show their class and step up to the plate. Pearce is hurting make no mistake. We need to support a man who was worshipped when he played for us and was when he took over. COYR
