Grant has just signed a new 2 year contract and both he and Walker scored again for the U21 side who beat Coventry today. Seems like Fawaz and Dougie are definitely into building our youngsters into the First team. With FFP around we need to keep our best young lads.

Good to see the youngsters signing on, think might be worth sending Jorge and Tyler out on loan too so they can get experience playing first team football for a lower league club.

Does anyone know how Laing is doing at Motherwell? Is he getting starts? IF they don't re-sign Collins and Lascelles is leaving in the summer we need him to be ready.

He has made two appearances for them since he went on loan. Probably would have been three but he was sent off 25 minutes into his debut and served a one match suspension. Haven't found any reports on his performances but he went straight into the starting eleven and was restored after said ban so that has to be a sign of encouragement. Hope he manages to play the remainder of their games and comes back more experienced and hungry to get a regular spot for us.

Good to hear he is playing. We only have Mancienne, Wilson and Laing on contract after the summer and we can't bring big names in.
