Lars veldwijk linked with a move back to Denmark, I would say go please, get some cash, get him off the wage bill and get a striker in on a season loan. It's just not worked out for him at Nffc.

1. When was Lars in Denmark? As far as I know he has never lived, but I am certain he has never played there.
2. Who are these strikers that are kicking around, waiting for season long loan, whose clubs won't ask a fee for? Whoever they are, I don't want them, they sound rubbish!

Forgive me for not holding much stock in the words of someone who doesn't know the difference between the dutch and the danish!!!

It didn't work for a lot of players last year. If df keeps him i will trust his judgement as he sees him everyday and works with and is more qualified to make a decision on someone's career than me.

"back to Denmark"

It wasn't meant to work for him last year as he's wasn't suppose to be anywhere near the 1st team but injuries forced him to be played.

He plays like he's never lived!!!

Ha haaaa get some cash for someone your having a laugh, would go on loan which we would pay more than half of, then go for free then come back and score a shed load of goals against us for another club :)

Mcgoldrick didn't work at forest

Garner didn't work at forest

Holt was five times the player for forest

If we'd have signed Callum Wilson he wouldn't have worked for forest neither would Sam vokes or Danny ings.

To be fair assombalonga was working.

Generally though things don't work at forest, no one knows why really, we don't know, ND and MA didn't know, FAH doesn't know either.

The last person to build a cohesive team was Davies - yes that's right Davies had a cohesive team first time round for sure, thereafter we've just signed players with no thought of how it will work cohesively - squandering millions in the process.

2star.

Yes Davies may have a side with some cohesion, but we lacked goals because he would not give strikers a run in the side.

Davies also was happy to play safe after we went 1-0 up, because of that we drew too many games.

Holland, not Denmark.

2star: It worked when it did work because we had a system and style of play first, then brought in players who could operate it who didn't think they were bigger "stars" than the manager, or have over-inflated opinions of themselves and over-inflated wages to boot. End of rant.

River, I don't disagree with that either, you're right.

Sorry I meant that holt was five times the player at Norwich than he was for us.

When you look at the players we've had in the last 8 years it's pretty hard to accept we've not moved forwards.

Pearce would have moved the club on but couldn't get results that were needed.

If DF doesn't work out God knows where we will turn next

I can't agree more with Tricky1972. And saying that it hasn't worked out for lars is wrong. When exactly has be been given a chance to show us what he can do?

hes been given 5-10 mins here and there and a few cup and U21 games. i say keep him and give him a go! what else can we do?

The ones that wouldn't play for SP, and in the last 8 games have not been turning up for DF. Take your pick.

2star.

I think you are right about Pearce, but where he went wrong was to plan the whole season around Andy Reid, and Chris Cohen.

Knowing them to be fragile individuals he should have had a plan B, instead It was a harsh learning curve for him.

Add Hobbs and fryatt to that as well river.

If we are planning anything sustainable around any of those four this season it's going to be a long hard one.

No wonder he has not integrated into our club when our coaching staff have been communicating in Danish to a Dutchman!

He was never purchased for the first team last season. His stats prove he can score goals and will if he moves.

Forest cannot manage or coach strikers that is the problem!

Can't see how we can judge laws not been given any kind of opptunity to show what he can do instead we put faith in blackstock who the only time as scored more than 10 goals in a season was playing fifa on his x box ,
Would be nice for us to have a decent striker.
