Take the money imo for Lansbury. For me we have had the best out of him and since a while he has not been delivering to his best - why?

And replace him with who?

We all know Lansbury is quality, but 1 good performance, and a goal in a friendly does not mean anything unless he is consistently performing in the league.

If Lansbury was quality today expect villa to bid. They were rumoured to be interested before. I'd let him go to villa for 3m plus Gardner

Isn't Gardner injured again?

Lansbury can go for me, erratic, unreliable and not a leader,: hold out for more DF then let him go. We have plenty of talent in midfield, but we still need a DM like Gardner. with Benny back we could be a force. not sure Villa are the best test though.

Imo benny Osborne for Lansbury.
I gather he was good today but disappointing that the Villa come to town, for him to re-awaken.
I would be glad to be wrong if he can now give performances like this week on week. Last yr he was better known for cards.
Either push on or push off (for good fee/player swap), either way for the better of the reds midfield.

Dare2
I was just reporting what I had seen. It's obvious you want Lansbury to leave. If only he was as consistent as you are with your pointless comments!

Yes you only reported what you saw, but I was only stating a fact, are you saying you do not mind a player having a good pre-season game, but being inconsistent in the league ?

If Df gets Lansbury to be more consistent I would love Lansbury to stay, but a good performance in a pre-season friendly is not a indication of being consistent the league.

When Lansbury is on such high wages, bearing in mind our financial situation we need him to perform more often.

If I did not post pointless comments you would be bored, because you would have Nobody to let steam off at.

There's always the wife Dare2! I just think that Lansbury looked very focused yesterday and didn't strike me as someone who had had his head turned by another club. We all know what he can do, let's just hope he can do it.
