Jay Rodrigeuz from Southampton is the mystery man

Inital 6 months loan to get his premiership match fitness honed.

Therefore no loan fee or wages issue as Saints just want game time.

Deal done for the weekend.

I don't see it myself, not with the reported season long loan with a £3m option to buy at the end

Koeman reckons the season has started to early for Rodriguez to be fit,Long is injured as well so that's them out of the running (no pun intended)anyway what sort of favor could Koeman owe Dougie 😁

I thort the rumours going about him was for a year loan and 3 mill option to buy?

The favour was DF selling Clyne to Les Reed at Saints when at Palace.
Rodgireuz is an England International and there is no way Saints will sell him for £3m. They need to give him game time at a lower level so this deal suits both parties as Britt will be back in the New Year and they are similar types of players.

Is Britt actually expected back match fit in the new year, or expected to return to training? That can have a big difference on how long we get loanees for.

I understand that Jay Rodrigeuz is in Southampton's Europa Cup squad for their game so although a mouth watering rumour I am sceptical about this one sorry!

If it is Jay Rod, he got from Forest to his home to Holland pretty sharpish. Somehow don't think he is the mystery man.
