Heard a rumour that chris cohen will announce his retirement when the transfer window closes. The reason for the timing of this is that DF is looking for replacements and if this was announced before other clubs/players could demand more. He will be offered a coaching role. Really hope this is not true though.

I don't like saying this but this is rubbish.it will make no difference if he retired now or after the window closes.every club knows we want/need players and they also know that if we bring one in another will go.so it makes no difference whatsoever!

Surely CC would have to retire first to free up a space in the squad before we can bring anyone in etc.

That's true FF27, I love CC, always gives his all in the Garibaldi and would be a shame to lose him! But he has to think long and hard about his future, another bad injury would see him done, and I think the same applies to Andy Ried now aswell. Freedman has to look at the bigger picture now.
