MON in the number one target and Clough back up plan if we cannot land MON. Fawaz is willing to give MON full control and a sizeable purse of money. If we do land MON it's certainly last chance for Fawaz.

I'll willingly eat every hat I've got if he comes to Forest, but I see no reason why he would with FAH in charge - it could well wreck his career. Why take such a risk?

2.) 16 Apr 2016

Martin might be ready for a sizeable retirement fund boost like the rest of the folks who saw our idiot owner coming up the drive.

Why wouldn't you take the job and the money? Fawaz will stuff it all up and give the new man all kinds of reasons to quit on a big payoff.

This job is like Christmas everyday.

Why would fawaz spend any money when some fans treat him like they do. Whatever he does or says he does deserve a bit of respect, some of you lot are like spoilt kids and just expect everything without putting anything in yourself. You moan If prices go up but you want top signings and top managers and then you say fawaz can't run a business - well I will guarantee that if most of the people in here run the club or any business that would last about the same time as our recent managers! Fawaz isn't great but would you be any better and are there any alternatives at the moment. If fawaz and the fans were realistic and sensible there would not be a problem.

4.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 12:26:17
Is it realistic to expect:

1. Managers to be given a fair chance?
2. No interference with matters on the pitch?
3. Bills paid on time?
4. Managing finances and no transfer embargo?
5. No more embarrassing tweets?
6. Not to be made a laughing stock by the owner weekly?

I could add more but 'realistically' all we want is some stability and a little hope. We seem to be in gradual decline, I hope he can turn it round but he will need to start changing his approach very soon.

Thats a load of rubbish 2tone.

6.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 13:51:11
NFFC1973, seems to me that anyone who calls someone's genuine point of view as 'a load of rubbish' deserves to know the reasons why.
As for me agree with 2tone.

7.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 14:30:00
Thanks art53, I'm not a huge fan of fawaz and I don't agree with a lot of the things he says or does but i do think he is trying to do what he thinks is right for the club, will the fans give him the opportunity to do it? Will you give him a fair chance? I suppose you were one of the people jumping up and down whenfawaz came in saying we were going to get back in the prem and champions league.

8.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 14:40:13
2tone: just how many chances do you give someone? How many chances has he given the managers he's appointed? As fans we all give the team chances, and we've given FAH lots - just when does the buck stop? Nice guy he may be, and well intentioned but at present we're heading for the bottom 3 -isn't a businessman judged by his results?

9.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 15:15:06
When fawaz came in promising big things i would imagine most of us regained some optimism in the club.
However after year after year of his lies at least i still don't believe in him like you do 2tone.

10.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 15:45:49
Fawaz is still promising big things, he's trying where he can in all areas, people should grow up and stop moaning, the bloke carn't win, fans supposedly! talk like there's numerous multi millionaires out there queing up to buy us, under embargo y because he put his money in to better the place and get the players fans wanted to push the club forward, tweets so we know its true or false and not rumour control, trying to get a close connection with the fans, built up the ground, facilities, electronic boards big screens, coming out with new ideas and concepts, many clubs have had an embargo since FFP etc, ruthless with managers because he wants success, and any good manager would'nt fear that if they came to us, which i think realisticly should be Nigel clough. GLASS HALF FULL, NOT EMPTY!

11.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 16:18:03
I don't agree with everything he says or does 73? However, Until there is an alternative that can offer more than fawaz does I will not hound him out and I will support the whole club and be hopeful that he will sort it out - there's not many more mistakes to be made is there?

12.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 16:32:20
So what does he offer 2tone? The only thing he's offering at the moment is embargoes and league 1 football.

There is interest in the club and the quicker fawaz goes the better.

13.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 16:37:32
Where's the interest? Who in their right mind would buy us? And I would have said the same thing a few years ago. Fawaz is the front man that keeps us ticking over financially, so at the moment he is bank rolling us which is quite important!

14.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 16:45:13
Theres the greek interest for one.

15.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:01:46
Come on 73,so you're pinning all your hope on a dodgy rumour about a guy from that stable country Greece.

16.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:16:33
Im not pinning anything i'm just saying apparantly there's interest from the olympiakos owner.

17.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:19:14
Well said 2tone. great post!

18.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:19:53
Have you not read the posts from No.22 (I think) about how FAH is not bankrolling us - he gave us a loan to buy us out of trouble and we're paying him back? Or maybe I got that all wrong. I apologise if I have.

19.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:20:39
people always think the grass is greener don't they!

20.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:26:03
And whose the Greek guy battling with?

21.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:26:20
You STILL! banging on about this Greek bloke. I asked you weeks ago as regards any further movement. still Waiting 1973?

22.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 17:27:23
Totally agree 2tone like I've said think some fans are going to be eating humble pie next season coyr.

23.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 18:48:13
Still banging on rogie? Are you ill? Apparantly there is interest that's all.

Like I've said before we took the fawaz rumours with a pinch of salt when he bought us.

Nobodys going to be eating humble pie while fawaz is running the club i know that much for sure.

24.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 19:41:14

27.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 20:32:17
Chappy i never believe the papers but i do think there's some truth in it. Plus i think fawaz would now rather sell up than run the club properly.

28.) 16 Apr 2016
16 Apr 2016 20:48:43
Blimey all the sensible lads on here at last 😊 coyr!

29.) 16 Apr 2016

17 Apr 2016 09:15:42
As i said to 2tone forest71 absolute rubbish.
Christ we actually get a point against rotherham and all the faeaz arse lickers crawl out the woodwork.

31.) 17 Apr 2016
17 Apr 2016 13:41:03
please do not shoot the messenger but looking a the past few years there was only one manager that formed a slightly sucessive team of the forest lads and had them under control.

William McIntosh Davies

Even he failed with the media he always gave his best for forest - an the team were playing good football compared to what is now.

Best Manager we have had since Frank Clark. We reappointment him tomorrow had my way.

Have it on good authority that the owner (will not call him by his name, lost my respect sacking DF) has been influencing team selections!

Managers - manage

Coaches - coach

Owners - pay the bills!
