Nikos Karelis.

He's a 24yo, left-sided forward who only joined Genk in January. He has a decent record in Greece and Belgium and has represented the Greek national team since 2014.

Gazzared that is my thinking too. The NEP are suggesting £6 million pounds as a fee. Forgive me but where else is that money coming from if it's not Britt?

Karelis looks awesome on you tube, good age, good scoring record. He sounds like the kind of player, the new investors might go for. It would show decent intent, to break the clubs transfer record as well.

Can't see us selling BA for 7 and buying him for 6.

After add ons for BA we'd be out of pocket - doesn't make good business sense and whilst that is the norm for us I expect a new astute and viable commercial approach at NFFC moving forward.

Karelis does look pretty decent; knows where the net is, good tirn if pace, holds off players well, and has quick feet (check out YouTube) . If this is true then I seriously hope we have both Britt and Karelis. This season just might be the big push, hence we maybe having both?

Why think about selling a player to afford to buy one?
Is'nt this the old way of thinking.
We have a new owner coming with money to spend so let's just buy Nikos Karelis.
He looks good on Youtube but De Vries would have stopped half the goals he scored.
However that's still a lot more than anyone else did last season.

Britt could force a move to Norwich which wouldn't surprise me as he has ambitions to play in the premiership sooner rather than later. That's not putting forest down, just being realistic. If he does, we will need a replacement that can score goals. I think that's what's going on here.
