According to a London newspaper Charltons Stephen Henderson is close to finalising his move to Forest.

Will he be good enough to displace our current number 1?

Just seen this as well mate, no chance Super Dorus can be dropped this season.

No not dropped but he does need some competition so we can let Evtimov out on loan to get some much needed experience. Also Dorus is 36 and only has a year left on his contract so well worth having a) decent back up b) experienced cover and at 28 Henderson could well succeed Dorus when he moves on/ calls it a day so makes sense to me on many levels. :-)

Henderson sounds like one of the 'good guys'of football according to Charlton Blogger.

QUOTE
Sorry to see Stephen Henderson preparing to leave the Valley and start afresh at Nottingham Forest. Henderson is approaching his goal-keeping prime at 28.
The honest Dubliner earned huge respect from me last season when he was left to face the press after Karel Fraye fled the scene again at Huddersfield after our five-nil walloping. Henderson was patently hurting and he bared all in a five minute session where he didn't need to say much to convey how he was feeling.
So, good luck Hendo, you were a class act in Charlton colours and we wish you well at Forest.
