Nelson Oliveira could sign permanent deal today.

Whats the point in that? We couldve played burke as a centre forward and got better results.

the point is that Oliveiras market value is 3 Million EUR and we got 13 Mio plus add-ons for burke. I am from Germany and in our papers there is a sell-on-clause mentioned. So - WELL done Pedro Pereira and Fawas.

Oliveira and two more would go somewhere to replace Burke. At the end of the day why keep a player who wants to go.

You lot are a funny bunch! Burke still has lots of work to become a top player. Fawaz sold him so that the team can potentially be made stronger, don't forget FFP still! Not looking good with the investment situation either, Fawaz is a business man and if that means we sell a player to get more additions then so beit! Oliver Burke would not have got us promotion, the team will (can) . Ask yourself this if he was that good how come no team paid more than Red Bull did?

I'd rather keep Assombololololonga than Burke. Good business in my opinion although I appreciate I'm probably in minority.

We looked strong as it is, no promotion ambition if you are selling your best player. Really disappointed, especially for all the season ticket holders. He would have scored and created so many chances to help with promotion, that's obvious after only a handful of games. But Leipzig, really?

I'm hoping with Britt injured he may go under the radar this window and people won't risk going in for him.

Thats really soured my bank hol, grrrr, to the pub!

I agree that Burke is not the finished article, was Bale when we nearly signing him on loan? No and look at him now!
Do I agree with the sale? well I'm 50/ 50 on this, yes the money keeps us stable but what if Burke stayed and was worth £20+ million by the end of the season.
I run kids football teams and sometimes you see potential early on and then it is gone and on other times you see it and they go to academies.
Unfortunately football is a business nowadays and if you want to buy a red shirt with the forest badge on and be able to see them play at the highest level then sales are inevitable.
We need to do a Burnley, Stoke, Swansea, Palace etc and get to the big time on a shoe string, then and only then can we spend money on top players.
Finally is Fawaz best for this club? he is a business man and he won't please the fans all the time but he does struggle with the day to day running of an English club, maybe it is different in Kuwait I don't know but he still needs more staff and guidance.

Oliveira for Burke won't make Forest stronger. Need to be looking at Jordan Rhodes or a similar proven goalscorer at this level.

I think we should all calm down and wait until Thursday morning before we judge. The club knows selling a fan favourite will get a HUGE backlash, I believe they have someone lined up.

But with just 15000 season ticket holders and just 21000 turning out to watch on Saturday, we are always going to be a selling club. The stay away 'supporters' will say the sale of Burke will stop them renewing their season tickets, but this is not a chicken and egg situation. The more supporters we have the less of a selling club we will be.
Fawaz has funded each season with the sale of our prize assets. This season was never going to be any different.
£13 million for Burke is good money, especially if we have sell on clauses. The buying club are taking all the risk. What will Burke be like against the quicker, fitter defenders of the higher standard of Football?
How would we feel right now if Forest went out and paid £13 million on a player who has only played 10 games?
It would have been exciting seeing Burke develope, but there were flaws in his game and a few question marks about his attitude.
The alternative to selling Burke is for Fawaz to give or lend the club more money. I suspect it is lend more money and I for one do not want to see the £102 million we owe him increase any further.
The sad truth is that Fawaz holds the purse strings and abusing him personally will do the club no good whatsoever.

Oliveira is a quality player at championship level, he and Britt would score bucket loads IF they have support. They need to get 2 quality wingers in in the next 3 days.

He's going to NORWICH! Get realistic forest aren't signing anyone on big bucks.
