Overrated, overpaid, waste of space.

Top signing at this level 😀.

His ability was never in question. It's his attitude. The last thing we need is another big head in the dressing room. Now where's that Specsavers voucher.

That's what you think bsered who knows nothing about football but a man that does pm seems to rate him and going on the signings he's made so far with the bit of money he as had I would back him on is opinion not yours 😊.

Fine Skegs. I'm fully ready to eat my hat. I recall you were big in favour of Pearson as manager at NFFC, maybe not such a good call now since you're a PM fan?

Reckon of he actually knuckles down, he might be useful. 🤔🤔🤔.

A positive attitude is everything in a striker. If he tells us all he will be the leagues top scorer, then he'll have to live up to it. Britt and Bendtner must have a chance of getting over 40 goals between them which would propel us up the table. Long live Lord Bendtner!

In the land of 3 strikers. Bendtner is welcome.

if he's handled in the right way this could be a great signing for us, give the bloke a chance.

I think it is a great signing. I think This makes our transfer window now. I also believe that this is a big signing for Forest and a good stand in for Britt. Credit where credit due, well done Fawaz, montanier and Pedro.

Get this Deal Iver the line. I'm in favour of a striker coming in.

If he's as crap as you all say he is why would Juventus and Wolfsburg pay good money for him?

Just feel that he will be another Macheda.

I remember reading something about Bendtner by a sports psychologist - he (or she? ) reckoned he was by far 'the most confident in their own ability' of anyone they had ever worked with.
This was just after his Arsenal exit.
He's under performed since then but at Championship level he could shine if PM can control him / his ego. Wages might be an issue.
If he signs and scores less than 10 then it's time to ask questions - but let's be a little optimistic for once please.

Not sure why we are waisting our time with him. Useless. We could have Tyson. Tyson is quick, determined, passionate and a true sporting professional. I'm sure forest are in talks with him anyway, but if not, they should.

I think this could be a great signing, hope he can be for us what Grant Holt was for Norwich or Ricky Lambert was for Southampton in their promotion seasons. Let's not forget he's got experience of pushing for and achieving promotion as well. It certainly won't be boring anyway!

Bentner has a point to prove, in that he is a goalscorer. If he believes Forest is a stepping stone back to the PL (eventually) then I welcome him proving himself. We don't exactly have anything to loose here!

I think a lot of people seem to have got there minds made up about him without giving the bloke a chance. If he signs then get behind him and give him time to show what he can do.

He cannot be worse then what we have had over the past few years.

He went to juve on loan and a free transfer to Wolfsburg bluebird.
If you look at the actual mins on the pitch rather than apps he scored a goal every 213mins in the prem 2.3games per goal, now that to me is pretty good for a striker like bedtner. if you look at mins on the pitch at most of his clubs his goals per min are never over 3games per goal in better comps than the champ.
I'm all for this depending on wage, big wage will unsettle other players talking over 30k which Britt and Lansbury (new contract) will be around. a lot over 30k I. e 40-50k it's a no from new around the 30kits worth a gamble.

23.) 07 Sep 2016
07 Sep 2016 09:15:16
Why can't people just give him a chance, if we paid for a striker at his level we would be looking at around 7million so to get him on a free and just pay his wages would by far be worth the gamble,

Maybee he will come to his senses and buckledown so he can get back to the "Top Flight"

As a Danish Forest fan I am thrilled with the prospect of Bendtner arriving. Granted it comes with the risk of not working out but an in-form Bendtner will be an asset to the club. The key questions to me are: does he have the attitude needed and will he fit the style of football we play? Whilst Bendtner has had many issues in the attitude department! I think he will work hard to prove a point and Forest fans will see him putting in a real effort - the skills are definitely there. Ideally I would like to see both him and Britt in the team at the same time as Bendtner could make Britt even better - but that would require a change of style as I see it though I am certain that the manager is entirely aware of that. Wages by the way is reported in Danish media at 25k per week. COYR.

Been told the deal is 25k a week on a 2 year deal.

Very good business by the club.

If anything it's getting a lot of media attention which will hopefully attract more fans to the games. Plus the Danes love him so might raise our profile in Denmark. The other thing is it shows the players that we mean business, a big name coming into the dressing room will help confidence, think Lansbury knew him from his arsenal days too?

28.) 07 Sep 2016
07 Sep 2016 13:46:59
Might be one of his last chances so hope he makes the most of it. He should have plenty enough for the Championship and as someone else mentioned it maybe his opportunity to get back to the big time.

Don't understand the negativity at all! We have absolutely nothing to lose and possibly a hell of a lot to gain signing bendtner. Will score goals at champ level.

So if its 25k per week, that's 1.3m a year, how much is Velios costing us for fees and wage this year? Think the Velios deal is a bigger waste of money myself.
