Six weeks exclusivity agreed with a US consortium for a £40m sale of NFFC.

Fingers crossed!

So we get a new owner, sounds great. FAH has got faults.

But let's be honest half the mistakes are driven by his own unrealistic perceptions of NFFC and what he'd brought.

Many on here will criticise any new owner because you honestly think we are more than a mid table championship team.

Worst still some believe he has taken us backwards and that we were more than a mid table championship.

Funny how no one can remember the debacle of mcclown, the sale of our best players to survive and the escape from league one mainly due to a points dedection from Portsmouth.

Shame the money FAH has put in has been wasted as we've missed a chance to move forward with his money.

Who do you honestly think would invest more? We don't have the income to enable us to spend like some fans think we should.

Forest fans are deluded and recall times that never actually happened. In our last premier league season we got an average of 25,000 at home. We're not the club many think we are.

It prevents enjoying what we are and celebrating success. For example we didn't celebrate the playoffs as a success we saw it as a failure, that's bizarre in my view and that is the mentality that drives a large % of the fanbase. We felt we had a divine right to be promoted because we think we are better and bigger than we are.

Change the expectation bar and suddenly being a forest fan seems appealing again. Expect 30,000 a week, premier league football and millions spent on players then you will be disappointed irrespective of the owner as that isn't what we are and it never has been.

Owner after owner has failed to deliver the expectations of some of our fans, so there is a common denominator.

Gone backwards under him? Do me a favour.

Most clubs that have been taken over by Americans have regretted it big style. Villa, Man Utd, Liverpool etc.

US investors are not the way forward. Very few invest much cash and rack up debt. Even fewer actually understand proper Football!

This is all based on an article in one paper. No one has actually come forward and said it's true. The way Fawaz was talking (today the Americans yesterday the Greeks and tomorrow maybe the Chinese ) this suggests that it's all paper talk.
Don't put to much store in that article.
