It appears the American consortium drastically reduced the offer price based on the fan base turning on the owner and them feeling he had nowhere to go. His ego wouldn't let him sell for £25m which was their revised offer.

Can't blame the Americans. This is business at the end of the day, only ourselves are supporters. If he sells all the assets of the club including players, and land holdings he would not raise £25m. He either has to start funding the club or find a new owner or sell everything and get us relegated.

I reckon that's about the gist of the matter?

We could all see this coming, some people have been worried from day one and sceptical about why anyone would entertain buying into the club-and that's without even thinking about the damage being caused by fawaz's lack of money and behaviour. Some people think a protest will miraculously make fawaz disappear and new owners jump out from the woodwork.

I'm not so sure, there was no queue of buyers last time and we are less attractive now. I can see our downward spiral continuing with fawaz just trying to get as much cash out as he can and ultimately the club crumbling. I really hope I'm wrong but I just can't see why anyone would invest in the club, let alone buy someone else out. We are struggling big time and I'm genuinely worried for our future.

Also it was £50 million back around nov and dec so before we were two points off relegation, before we're about to lose lansbury, and with performances on the pitch and the deadweights in the team, it's no wonder the value of the club has gone down. But to £25 mill that is quite a reduction if true. problem is who is going to buy it for more now, Fawaz?

£50m was availiable and in the bank on 22nd December ready for Fawaz's signature and he went silent on them. This is still his making!

Derby, Leicester, Notts and every team in the championship are crying with laughter at us! We're like a monty python sketch! An ex parrot maybe! No longer a football club, more a farse!

At the end of the day, the Americans had the deal set in place last month ready to go, Fawaz has constantly been dodging signing for whatever reason. Now the club is in a much worse place than where it was when the original £50m was agreed.

the Americans must be sick of Fawaz constantly moving the goalposts then when they did it to Fawaz he pulled the plug. Realistically I don't think Fawaz wants to sell, but he wants to make it look like he's trying.

People are saying about the Americans falling through on 3 takeover attempts with clubs, but now Fawaz has fallen through on a Greek sale, a possible sale to Red Bull and now this one.

I've tried to stay positive until the takeover was done, but now this has fallen through I really fear for our club. It can be a slippery slope from here, just look at teams like Blackpool.
