Paul Taylor has said Hobbs is injured.

Fit to play when not selected, injured after playinga game or three.

Who dared to suggest we extend his contact?

Hobbs is not the only one, yes he's good when fit. However Hobbs, Cohen and Fryatt should get off the wage bill, in the summer sign another centre back to replace Hobbs, maybe have another go at getting Chambers from Ipswich, he's out of contract in the summer. Cohen and Fryatt don't need replacing, got lots of cover in those positions.

After tonight's performance I would play Mancienne at centre half all the time and tbh you can play who you like alongside because he reads the game so well and has so much pace it almost reminds me of Des Walker. I honestly thought he was that good tonight.

Danny Fox is an adequate replacement for injury prone Hobbs. He's a better centre back than a full back. Perhaps Forest should sue Southampton under the Sale of Goods act 1972. Selling us Fox as a left back. Just a thought.

You need to thank SP for moving Fox to centre back following his example later in his career!

Whoever gave Nick26 thumbs down on Mancienne clearly didn't go to the game! This was a good performance and great result.

Hendo Man of the match for his 3 fine saves but Mancienne was excellent!

True Nick 26, regarding Des Walker. I thought the same!

Let's not get too carried away! Mancienne was excellent and Fox looked solid for the most part of the game but there were patches, mainly in the first half, were defensively we looked all at sea. There was little protection from the midfield and the back-four were exposed quite badly at times. We still need a solid CM along side Vaughan.

Great win though, even if the sending off gave us the chance in that last 10mins to push on and win it.

Brereton looks lively and extremely promising. let's hope that goal is not the highlight of his career but one of many!
