The game today made me fear relegation even more, because the game reminded me so much of our last spell in Division one.

Blackburn, yes they were playing as well, produced a classic City Ground away performance.

Often with 10 men behind the ball, they wasted time from the first minute and gave the impression they were happy with a 0:0 draw. Then with the crowd on the home teams back, with frustration levels at maximum, they hit us with the sucker punch.

Mowbray, never a manager to send out entertaining teams, was in his element.

Yes Forest were not as sharp, because they were not allowed to be. Every time Forest tried to insert some momentum to the game, Blackburn stifled it.

All it need was a referee who thought that the 26,000 crowd had come to watch him and the nightmare scenario was complete.

If we survive the drop, I am sorry Jordan, but the first thing we need is a goalkeeper. Jordan Smith is a great lad, but is simply not big enough. I have not seen a replay of their goal, but headers should not be scored from corners from that close range.

Cardiff will attack on Monday. It will be tough but that game will suit another Huddersfield performance.

Wish how did you rate shilton as a goalkeeper?
What keeper would you bring in that's big enough to stop all goals from corners?

With the greatest respect to yourself and to Jordan Smith, there is only one Peter Shilton and no goalkeeper before or since has come close to matching him.

Jordan is still learning his trade and may one day be a Championship goalkeeper, he should not be doing so in a relegation threatened Forest first team. IMHO

His lack of height may not turn out to be an issue, right now his lack of experience is! He is nowhere near international standard, which begs the question, how is he keeping the current Bulgarian goalkeeper out of the team?

Albert Iremonger .6,6"
CARLO.

You said he simply isn't big enough! which suggests you think his height and stature isn't big enough to be a keeper or a good keeper. now you go onto his experience! sounds like your backtracking to me. next season he will have a half season ish of experience behind him to crack on and improve next season. the only way he will get better is playing championship football behind the players at the club he plays for so he gets to gel with them and they gel with him.

Jordan Smith 6'2"
Karl Darlow 6'1"
Dorus de Vires 6'1"
Lee Camp 6'1"
Stephen Henderson 6'2"

I suggest that height is a non issue its about talent and mobility?

Peter Shilton 6,1
Peter Grummitt 5,10
Gordon Banks 5,11
CARLO.

Hans Van Breukelen was next best came very close to Shilton
Had the pleasure of meeting him again last year at a 150th anniversary evening and he isn't the tallest but great goalkeeper.

What about BIG Nev Southall! Took a bloody brave striker to take him on one on one at close quarters.

We have plenty of goalkeepers, no point in buying another, there are other priorities.

Makes me laugh we put so much emphasis on the youngsters and the academy and then try to push one of them backwards rather than stick with him, some fans attitudes are very similar to the current owner who they slate. As a club we need to decide on a way forward and stick with it-some of our fans will not accept that though and unfortunately that is one of the reasons why we will always be a disjointed club.

Jordan Smith is actually 6 ft not 6ft 2 lol, he's not exactly small. again people not giving a good young keeper a chance, then these same people will moan about selling how best young players velios has a better strike rate than brereton does this mean the later isn't good enough to play in front of velios? I think not.

Smith has been bought in at a sticky point in the season and for a young lad like that to come in and do as well as he has with no massive mistakes against his name suggests that he is a very good keeper in the making. fans not giving him a chance again proves how bad some fans are.

Well said utf wasn't his fault for the goal and he's saved us more than once since he came in
Any one who prefers stoikovic needs their heads looking at the guys made more mistakes than a little he's a joke.
