The new Greek owner apparently has stated that his Greek team will benefit when he eventually owns Forest. What does he mean by that? Will all our Academy stars be going to Greece? Will we be getting the Olympiacos fringe players? Similar to Kasami. Out of the frying pan into the fire springs to mind.

I understand your concerns Burncross, you do have to ask why the owner of a major European team is so desperate to buy Forest? . Doesn't really make any sense and his comments in the Greek press don't give you much comfort that he is doing it for.

Can't see it myself really, i'm sure he'd rather have Forest competing in the Premier League than use us as a proving ground for Olympiakos. Even a mid table finish in the Prem league will probably be at least double the money for winning the Greek league.

It would appear the new owner runs his business empire from Kensington, London. So it would appear he is domicile in England. He might even come to watch matches.

Burncross I'm also a bit uneasy about Marinakis and not just because of his unsavoury reputation. He certainly starts well behind the gain line if what FAH says his true (? ) when you think about his influence behind the scenes leading to the arrival of Montainier, Peirera the DOF, Dumitru, Lica and all the other dross (with the exception of Vellious who I rate highly) . However beggars (because that's what we are) can't be choosers so let's give the Greek guy a chance surely he can't be as bad as FAH or can be? For some reason I keep getting visions of frying pans and fires! Gulp!
