We r looking at joe mason from wolves apparently us and qpr are going to battle it out to sign him as the wolves manager is not keen on him he's a good player on his day the only problem I have is he's injury prone that means he should fit in well cus we always seem to get injury prone players any thoughts?

How many strikers do we need when midfield and defence were the problems, injury restricted his appearances sounds perfect if we sign another striker I would say Britt is defiantly on his way.

Your right red James we need to be looking at defenders as we had the second worse defence in the division last season i haven't seen us being linked with any defenders just all strikers and midfielders I will be dissapointed if we don't sign a cb or 2 before the season starts.

I think worral will play a lot of games but can't rely on him as he is only a young kid plus he gets caught out a lot but u would expect that cus of his age he needs an experienced and solid defender with him.

Stick mance at the side of Worrall, problem comes when one of those gets injured because you end up with a player worse than the young lad at the side of him.

He won't buy a centre back he'll stick with what we've got.
Hes the manager and if he thinks he can get them to gel together so be it.
Not convinced personally but won't judge till we see.

I heard a rumour we were considering Grant Hadley from Newcastle. That would be a great buy. He didn't get games there last season and they just bought a lad from Spainish league for 8.5 mil so he looks like he is out of favour. Is exactly what we need, experienced, strong CB in his prime and a leader (was captain in his Blackburn days) . scores a fair few from headers too.
Heard rumour a few weeks back but nothing since but I think he will be on the move at some point this summer, just hope Forest look at someone like that as feel we need it. Perquis was ok but his positioning was poor, Hobbs is too slow and injury prone and Manchienne to light weight for me. I don't mind Mills but he is not much better than Perquis and positioning and concentration can be questionable. Worrall is a star in the making but is a lot to put on his young shoulders. he could form a good partnership and come on in leaps and bounds with a Hanley type player along side him imo.

Hanley would be good but I bet his wages are high. Worrall is young but needs games to improve. He is the future. Next couple of seasons is about getting the club stable again. Perfect for Worrall. Play him now and he will be awesome by the time we are ready for promotion push.

were we to play 352 to 3 would need to be centre backs. if traore and lichaj played in a 352 they would be the full backs.

Nffc99, you clearly don't know the squad. Traore was outstanding as the left CB in a 3 man defence last season.

Heard talk of loaning Hector from Chelsea, another good option.
I can see us using back 3 at times with Worrall on the right side, Traoure or Fox on left side and Mills, Manchienne or hopefully someone new in middle and then using Lichij, Osbourne, Carayol, Traoure or some new players as wing backs.
