Apparently forest won't listen to offers below 10m. Are we stupid. That's like saying starting bid is 10m. It should be 20m no less.
Britt is worth more to us. He will be the difference between promotion this season or next.

10 mill is a joke for one of if not the best strikers in the championship considering Kodja went from Bristol city to villa for 14 mill . Bidding should start at at least 15 mill plus. burnley are weighing up another bid apparently if they bid 10 and we exept I will be dissapointed tbh I don't want him to go anywhere cus he will be hard to replace.

As stupid as it sounds, the club aren't aiming for promotion next season, just consolidation. And if selling Britt means financially stability then so be it. Don't expect instant success because it isn't going to happen, be realistic.

For me it's a minimum of £15m and even then reckon we'd get £20m in January if he's stays fit for the first few months of the campaign (a fit Britt regularly starting will score 12 goals at least by xmas) . £10m or even £12m isn't worth listening to. We keep getting told we don't have to sell so only sell for stupid money.

I'm not expecting promotion this season but keep selling your best players every season then u will never get promoted sell your players it looks like a lack of ambition.

We haven't sold anyone yet and he's in florida with the rest of the squad, he's bound to be sought after, but the bid has been rejected so nothing to worry about.

The club might not be aiming for promotion, but anything can happen in the championship, put a good run together and anyone has a chance. Couple prove short sighted to sell.

Secondly any bid under what we got for Burke, a new emerging first reamer, should be rejected.

With a fit Assombalonga playing 46 games promotion IS a possibility - we should not accept less than £20m in the day and age of stupid transfer prices.

Too many deluded people on here. In 3 seasons Britt has played 65 games and scored 30 goals. I know he's been injured but averaged out its 10 goals a season. He's got pedigree but in my opinion doesn't look the same player since the cruciate injury. £10m+ is good money for a striker with question marks over their fitness. I trust the board to make the right call, they are realistic and pragmatic, us fans should be too.

How about 10 million plus Rhodes? I'd take that!

10 million plus Andre Gray! I really hope our new owner is like Daniel Levy when selling players and doesn't let anyone go cheap.

Agreed Glutbag - the chances are Britt will be injured at some point in the season. If we can get close to 15m that would be great business.

If we sell for 10-12, that would be an absolute bargain for someone. that's not being unrealistic, that's the truth.

As Bridgflower pointed out, Kodja went for more (14m) and I know who I'd rather have in the team. I hope were strong enough to hold on till at least Jan and we can make a much more informed decision then.

15m for a injury prone striker wuth no prem experience is about right. Cannot see us getting any more then that.

Glutbug,

Britts stats are a goal every other game which is gold dust for a striker who is not yet in his prime!

The club is going nowhere if it sells its best strikers so can you all stop fuelling the media circus he is worth more than £25m to Forest and this should be the message for the window shoppers!

They are gold dust stats for any striker.

True "Guv" imagine he does stay fit and he's scoring regularly, and we're in and around top six? It would be suicide to sell him at ANY price!? The money from the Prem would dwarf what anyone shells out for Britt!
