Is Jackson Irvine still in the mix because his so called move to Brighton seems to have died a death.

MW said he did not want to discuss positions, Surely Mcdonald would be too expensive, but Irvine could be one of the two set to join us.

Would prefer Irvine personally. McDonald had a bad deciplinery record last year 14 yellow and 1 red plus only 3 goals. We need more goals from midfield this coming season. For me, Irvine fits the bill.

id rather have irvine too and he'd be much much cheaper than mcdonald, and he's younger.

There's a report quoting the club, saying that the two we hope to bring in before the season opens are likely to be Kevin McDonald (Warburton thinks he can get a much better price), and 'probably one from a Premier league club'. He was asked will they be signing or loans and he said possibly one of each depending on negotiations. Sounds promising!

McDonald is the 1 for me bags of experience, I know Irvine is exciting but we need experience to influence a very young squad. We have enough goals in the squad.
