I think a midfielder and Leftback will come in (Macdonald and Bidwell maybe? ) taking number 3 and 7 and I think he will try to get a experienced keeper possibly on loan even to help improve Smith as number 1 this season.

Disappointed that Edsers not on the squad list I really rate him. I would think Evtimov will go out on loan when Henderson's fit and perhaps Kyle Walker leaving a 24 man squad.

So basically we haven't got a goalkeeper good enough for the number one jersey, a left back to wear 3 or a midfielder/ winger good enough to wear 7 (or is out injured still along with Fryatt) . Would have liked to have seen Clough be given 10 but glad Brereton and Cash now have respectable squad numbers. Could Joe Worrall not have had 12 or 15 or something instead of 42. Or does he genuinely think he's the answer to life, the universe and everything?

Players are stupidly superstitious so if they did well will want to keep there number from the season before. plus some fans would of had there names and numbers put on the new home shirt.
