The agent for Ronnow, the keeper at Brondby is saying that he is close to getting a deal over the line and Ronnow is likely to play his farewell game for Brondby on the 31 August.

Can't see Smith being dropped, so if Ronnow comes to us likely he will be rotated in terms of matches with Smith.

Bsered - I can. As much as I like Smith and the fact that we have brought him through, he can't kick a football, in fact his distribution is awful. Therefore does not fit in with Warburtons way. Warburton will be fair, send him on loan to county and ensure that we work on this and help him improve.

Steve Sutton spoke about this before the Newcastle game about Smith's distribution.
He said that he'd been taught through the academy to play out from the back,but he went out on loan to non league sides who just wanted it hoofed up the pitch all the time.
He said give the lad time to adapt and gain the confidence to play out and that he was good on the ball.

79 defo right! You could see against Boro that he was trying and learning! Against Millwall he kept playing short balls and got caught out many times but he was thinking about it more and didn't look as shaky against Boro with his distribution. It may take time for Smith to get use to it but he has that on his side!
I expect rotation if Ronnow signs but you can see the whole team showing teams of understanding and improving. Bring on dirty Leeds!
