John McGinn use to play for ST Mirren and if sold they would get 30% of the fee he would go for. A senior source at Hibernian said Forests bid is of no concern.

Hibs said the bid was laughable, £750,000 for a player that they value at £5 million. Hibs have already rejected £1 million from Ipswich.

The 5 mill was on a tag line referring to a player Celtic were interested in. The internet huh?

{Ed007's Note - Neil Lennon did say it would take a bid of £4-5 million to get McGinn away from Hibs but I think what he meant was that the lad wouldn't be allowed to leave on the cheap. He's a cracking wee player right enough who I'd like to see at Celtic but we have an abundance of midfielders right now and he'd struggle for any game time.}
