Some of the players MW bought are not championship standard.

I'm not in much agreement with that statement. Some youngsters are doing very well in the team and other more experienced ones have added some skill and endeavour. The problem lies with how they are being used or not being used. Zonal marking rather than man marking is a difficult skill to absorb, since if one person fails to do it there is no back up to help out. Few of the midfielders realise that they must defend as hard as they attack, and plainly cannot do it - Clough, McKay, and to some extent Bouchalakis for example. To me they all look like Championship material, and if only we had a Captain who knew the game well and directed people on the pitch, and a Manager who could see the faults before they are about to happen and pick tactics other teams did not expect, then the team would be further up the table.

In my opinion I think we're too easy to play against. If the opposition restricts our space we're buggered as we only have one style of play which relies too heavily on being allowed space. Leeds, for example, defended 10 yards inside their own half and put most of their players in our half which left us no space knowing that we won't play long. Hull, on the other hand, left too many gaps and backed off our players when we had the ball. Other than the side to side passing we don't seem to be able to mix up play which leaves us vulnerable as we're too predictable.

Don't agree with the post but what I will say is Derikwa was skinned for Readings first and at fault for the other 2 as he was out of position for the second and lazy getting back for the third.
Some of the players is a little over the top but would agree one player is accurate

Why is this even on the rumours page when it's banter from Graham the derby fan lol

The players that have come in are fine. Better than the dross that was signed last season. Our form reflects a side with new players adapting to a new style. Win a couple lose a couple. Like I said before, another couple of transfer windows, move some on and bring some in and we can start to judge MW.

Forest are a work in progress.
Some of the players were bought for development. We stick with the players and MW and we will benefit in the long run. its the way. the only way forward!

I feel we should give time to Warburton to improve the the team,i however feel it is a bold thing to say he is the only way forward.

Good post.
It's all about patience,You cannot turn the mess this club was in,in one transfer window.
The infrastructure has been put in place,They have put a manager in place "like it or not".
They have a plan no doubt of how long a process this will be with the current manager,They don't interfere in team selection or how the manager sees things .
So let's just let warbo get on with it?
Stability before expectation is the priority on and off the pitch.
Support is what's needed not negativity.

Exactly right FF79, before the season started and after the near disaster of last season, mid table stability would have been more than acceptable to most fans (except those who know far more about football than the professionals, from the perspective of their sofas). Personally, I will enjoy the victories and not lose perspective at the losses.

After the 4-0 win against QPR this post should be deleted under the trades description act.
