The lads played well. we are a work in progress.
We passed the ball in our half really well and we excelled in gifting the ball to the opposition.
Smithy played a blinder between the sticks. oh have i mentioned we are a work in progress? sound familiar? 🍞🍞.

Johnson at Bristol city faced the same last season from fans,
Bet they're singing his name now?
You can't turn our mess out overnight,
Even pep with all his riches cudn't get city right in his first season.
Chopping and changing doesn't work,we'll be mid table and be ups and downs, that's the goal for me this season

FF79 come on how can you defend warburton?
Are you telling me you are satisfied and happy with our results so far?
This league is extremely tough and the results clearly speak for themselves.
11 LOSSES. minus goal difference. conceeding soft easy goals. poor defending. need i go on?
How much time do you wish to give before we decline and slip further?
Something has to give I'm afraid.

I'm not defending him,I just want some stability the club, and a manager to be given a chance not 30 games and start the manager merry go round again.
It hasn't worked, the finances have settled down now,we will be able to offload the last deadwood at the end of the season.

Because he wheres rose tinted glasses I watch home and away we don't have a plan b OK fair enough we play nice passing football me personally I'd rather win games the ugly way if that gets us where we want to be taken arsenal yesterday 69% possession who got 3 points utd we can keep saying we are working progress we cannot defend as a unit it's beginning to think what Zach clough must be thinking probably same as velious the lad is a natural no 10 MW needs to have a rethink and quickly

Spot on Johnny. We just don't seem to have the players to do the ugly stuff. This wasn't addressed in the summer even though it was quite evident end of last season.
I appreciate MW can't be expected to sort this in 1 transfer window and i'm also aware we can't keep sacking managers.Facts are facts,we've lost way too many games this season and concede an embarrassing amount of goals.Personally I'd stick with MW till the end of the season and see how things look then.A strong second half of the season could have us all feeling more positive.
Zac Clough is a concern for me.Very promising player rotting away imo.

Same old forest we've become accustomed to this season. Most of the possession but created the same amount of chances the opposition created. Negative and predictable.

MMs, Manager-Moaners, out in force again. Life, like football, is never easy and will never be so. We have had the major bonus of getting rid of a clueless owner, and now have someone who wants to keep the ball on the floor and build up skills in the relatively inexpensive squad he has got. Would you constantly criticise and moan at your own kids for all their failures (I know, we are not dealing with kids, as many of you seem to think) or praise them for the things they do well? The positive managers are the ones that achieve the most: half a season is no time at all in the life of a team or Club. All we can do is support the Club and the lads, even if we have rather obvious criticisms to make. Nothing breed success like success.

Knee jerk replace manager moans as usual when we lose, that really hasn't worked out in the past for us has it.

At least give the guy a whole season in charge, mid table/top 10 is a decent finish, loooooong way to go yet, we do have a really young side on a steep learning curve.

I’m not moaning at my kids I’m moaning at the man in charge of full grown adults that’s trying to mould them into something they will never be.who in the world has success playing the ball on the floor with no pace, tempo or directness?no team in the world plays like that.all the passing teams are direct and don’t pass Just for the sake of it like we do.thats not good football that’s trying to keep the ball off the opponents so they can’t score which again is down to the manager not realising that these players panic far to often when under pressure.its all well and good keeping the ball but when you have so much possession and do nothing with it what’s the point?people are mistaking good football with keep ball.

We keep coming back and comparing our situation with Bristol City. Well having watched them play the difference is they have Aden Flint a 6'5" attacking centre half and Jamie Patterson who has the happy knack of arriving in the box at the right time!

Fine margins and poor squad management is something we continue to excel at?

They also had owners who stood by the manager when he cudn't buy a win and refused to let flint go and credit to the lad he just gets better.
