Sport site saying we are interested in a striker called Mimoun Mahi, why!!! we have enough perfectly good strikers, it is CM and DMs we need once they are sorted MW can play the ball out of defence to our front men, in my opinion if he can't sort that out then it is going to be a long 4 months 😈

Apparently there's a striker called velious who I'd be more interested in seeing in a forest shirt rather than Mahi

Just reading an article slating Daryl Murphy???
Scored 7 stuck up front and isolated and still getting sh*t?
While we play Warbo' s rules we will never have an attacking threat

Johnny is that the same Velious ,Greek international striker, that can’t get a game in a struggling championship side, that can’t buy a goal. Just saying.

I've just read a quote what MW has stated bereton Cummings and Walker could be the 20 goal a season we need has no one told him it helps if you play them up front just proves he hasn't a clue

Would love to sit down with some of the 'No plan B' uttering and Warburton hating fans on here over a stat and fact based pint.

Honestly drives me crazy how some people aren’t able to see that MW has done the best with the squad he has. He’s not been allowed a whole year yet and people turn on him already. He needs at least two more windows to actually have a squad capable of challenging for anywhere near the top 6.

These people shouting 'Warburton Out' are the same lot who were screaming for stability and continuity 18 months ago.

Lnd red cudnt agree more, but according to some, there's a new messiah to take us forward in the form of monk.
Might be a good fit with our budget of bread and water, when the last club provided him with a kings ransom.

Why did MW not address the obvious frailties defensively we all witnessed last season and he himself saw in the last 9 games?

He tried to sign two goalkeepers one failed the other got injured before he kicked a ball for us.
He tried to sign a defender from Brentford who join Harry's expensive jigsaw instead.
We have a director of football who takes care of most of this, you can't blame the manager if he identifies a target and the director can't bring him in within the budget,
We are only six months into this process and was the reason managers have turned us down in the past for not having a director of football.
Don't lay all the blame at the manager and just accept it's a new regime who have set a budget and both mcparland and warbo have to work to those restraints.
It was never going to be a quick fix,you can't build without solid foundations.

So they did fail to address our obvious weaknesses before the start of the season then.

Yes perks, but not for the want of trying.

He has had one window and less than a year to turn around a decade or more of decline.

Still think that impatience within the fan base is a big problem at our club. I understand it to a point, but it is a problem.

Part of the crowd problem has been numbers of bums on seats. We are improving in that regard. We still need to be more positive.

The Shef Wed game was appalling, but he did try to play with our future stars. They just didn’t do the business on the day. On chances created 4:1 would have been a fair score at half time.
The penalty was a penalty, but if referees were consist there would be 10 penalties a game if man handling players at corners was penalised

Absolutely agree. .Six months ago the club was on its knees. rock bottom with a clown as owner.
Short memories!!!

Wishey, yes he played our "future stars" as you say. Brereton has proven over the last few games that he is more effective through the centre but gets put out on the wing while Walker seemed to be doing well on the wing and he pushed him up top by himself?
Treore who is an excellent left back stays on the bench while a midfield player is at left back?
Do you not find this strange?

I agree wishey they had chances and didn't take them which begs the question, where was the big man? And I don't mean santa! As some rightly point out we appear to have spent 2 million on Murphy and he can't play Saturday/Tuesday games together. If this is true a decent signing now looks a bad signing to me and we should have stuck with the kids up front and used that money to ensure we secured our Goalkeeper and defensive targets in the summer. These were the priorities as we all knew.

Osbourne in defence Bereton on the wing velious on the bench and you still think he is the man for the job why can't we ever get a manager that knows his best 11 sticks with it in the same positions and keep it simple 4 4 2 rome wasn't built in a day and he has tried a new style too quickly instead of implementing it over night phase it in play to the strengths of the players he has instead of trying to make them something there not
