Heard from a liable source close to Ben Osborne that Cohen will be announcing his retirement soon.

He’s taking some of the first team coaching sessions at the minute.

Good move to keep him in and around the club. Very positive influence.

2 years too late, good luck to him with coaching

Hope he gets a testimonial, I know he’s had massive injury problems, and should have played more. To comeback from 3 cruciate ligaments is impossible. I played for a Mansfield team,in its formative years with Rod Arnold in goal, mine popped on a muddy pitch, studs stuck in the mud, twisted to clear a corner, the most inoculatious of challenges. Still suffering today.
Cohen is Forest though and through. I’d wager he’d put in a better performance with his dodgy knees than this current crop of show ponies.
Two years too late ,shame on you.

Liable source or reliable?
I spoke to Cohen at the Norwich game and he told me he was close to a return. I'd heard he was back in training.
Could have had another setback though I suppose.

Many an international footballer has failed to be a good manager.
Been some great managers who have been poor footballers or not at all,be good managers.

*Reliable. No thanks to my dodgy keyboard 😂

I’ve loved watching Cohen over the years but I feel now is the right time to step back - irrespective of the information. I was given.

Definitely agree he deserves a testimonial.

Red one

How is it shame on me, he has put himself through hell to try and play professional football again to no avail, that has not only messed up his body more but must have also been rough on him mentally.

Would you wish that a player who has served our club so well.?

I'm all for a testimonial,as long as the money goes to charity.
Not like they don't earn enough?
Quite a few players have done this and it's a great way of raising money.

He’d probably donate to Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough. My wife works there and knows Chris Cohen personally, she says that he’s such a lovely bloke. He visits with his wife and child and gets some of the other Forest players to get involved as well. I know he had a lot to do with Rainbows being the official charity partner last season. Good luck to him i say on whatever path his next journey takes him.
