Not impresed one bit . Midfielders galore. Where are the goals going to come from. Seems to me a case of trial and error. Sorry Reds to be a killjoy.

We didn't have a midfield at all before.

No tackles no creativity.
He's bought in tacklers creative and goalscorers.and box to box player
What more could you ask for?

It wouldn’t have mattered who our forwards were against Preston, messi and ronaldo wouldn’t have got a touch because our midfielders were completely overrun and never got the ball to pass to them, much too lightweight. Hopefully AK has sorted it and we can now see how good,or not,our current forwards are, you never know, the defenders might look better too!

Both defence and attack have suffered from our weakness in midfield, we can get overrun easily. But will AK have us playing like a Warnock side rather than a nice footballing side (the forest way)

Tomlin and Lolley are both forwards (yes they sometimes play winger or attacking midfield but also both have played up as striker.
Colback is a midfielder but actually played Leftback very well when last a regular at Newcastle and with Traore going that is where I would expect him to play since we have signed Guardiora as solid midfielder who should adjust quick too.
So we actually have signed.
Goalie -Pantillimon
Centre Back - Tobias
Leftback / Centre Midfielder - Colback
Central Midfielder - Guardioura
Left Winger - Dejagah
Right Winger / Striker - Lolley
Striker - Tomlin

If you ain’t got a midfield you ain’t going to get goals or help defend them so great signings in my opinion
