Football is definitely a funny old game! there hasn't been too much to get excited about this season, but the main thing I can see is that confidence is the key to this team, as I know it is to every team of course. Those couple of good results when GB was interim manager against Leeds and Arsenal (draw and win) was the same team MW had playing for him. GB knows these players best and has their respect I'm sure.

We then saw that great result against Wolves with AK in charge early on. I'm sure AK like most observers saw how we easily get dispossessed of the ball and decided to take the opportunity in the transfer window to get some players in that he thought could do a better job. Now with all the changes and still more defeats the confidence has really slumped! Let's hope our manager has at least got a plan B for this.

Lets be clear Gary Brazil is not the answer. We played Arsenal youth with Forest youth. He had nothing to lose and yes knows a lot about the players. He did not tear up any trees as interim manager the last time. Let him do whst he does best with the academy. .

My post wasn't about GB and how he should be the manager (again), it was more to do with trying to work out what motivates our players on the pitch. I agree Rutland, GB didn't tear up any trees last time he was in full charge, and I did mention that away win at Wolves also when AK was the boss so regardless of which manager is in control our old crop of players (before the January transfers happened) did manage the odd good performance! So we know they can perform when they press hard and work as one unit it is more down to consistency and confidence. Admittedly though, some of our players were too lightweight and getting brushed off the ball too easily.
