2 million on a striker gets you exactly what we got.Unless you gamble on lower league players you need to spend bigger than that.We paid 2 mil for Stan Collymore 25 yrs ago.

It was actually 2.5million but your point is spot on. What decade are we leaving in? You get naff all with 2 million and you will get nowhere with a team full of learners. The 5.5 million gamble on assombalonga commercially, was relatively the same as the gamble in Stan. Both paid off but it’s a gamble no doubt. If anything we undersold Stan. We got a ridulous return on assombalonga

Is everyone mad? If Osborn was at another club and we wanted to buy him how much do you think he would cost us? Given that he is young, has plenty of championship games under his belt and is his clubs player of the year. Answer is alot!!. When the lb gets injured who do we turn to? Left mid, centre mid, just off the striker. He plays anywhere and does a good job. Mental to sell him unless its silly money.

Problem is Redfin if the powers that be decide there's no money and say sell before you buy we could get rid of 10 deadwood players and not even raise a couple of million.
I wouldn't get rid if we don't need to but something drastic has to happen this summer because this squad is garbage,relegation fodder in fact. Expect big changes
