Worrall is a must keep!

Everything a C half should be and a future England captain. No brainer because he can step in at any point and do a very solid job.He always puts his body on the line and fights for the team.

How many of our young homegrown players can you say that about?

Osbourne, Worrall, cash and that's about it currently.

Certainly not BB! If we got a 10 million offer for BB I'd take it in a heartbeat. Don't think there is much chance of that happening after squandering his chances last season and learning the art of playing at swan lake.


I'd try to hang on to those three and strip the rest to bare bones to pay for the incoming new first team.

Be ruthless and get rid of the young players who have been out on loan perhaps with the exception of Walker who looks lively and has great ties to the club.
Grant not good enough! Would think about keeping Yates if he shows massive progress in pre season.
This season is about getting to the Prem and we need to go all out with all resources or we will fail!

Guediora if he can recapture his form because let's not forget he'd been out for about 2 years prior to rejoining.
Looked nothing like the player of old but I think he deserves a chance because of his passion and physicality. He knows how to control a game late on.

And that's about it apart from a few squad players.

That's 11 players so we need another 11 to be top three material.

We need two strikers!
Two wingers
A left back
Two centre midfield
A first choice goalkeeper

As far as I'm concerned the rest of the players can leave or be prepared to fight for a chance on the bench.

Sell Mance, Murphy, Darikwa, Mckay, Brereton, Traore, Vellios, Clough, Cummings.

I make that about 18 million if you get 10M for Brereton.

Loan out or release Ward, Kapino, Evtimov, Henderson, Fuentes, Bouch, Lam, Ariyibi.
With the exception of Ward (who I really like) they have been proven not good enough.

And before I get called out for saying Lichaj is good please remember that "good" does not mean skilful?

Good, to me, is a player who consistently performs to a high level everytime he is picked, no matter if they have been playing regularly or not.

If they are a good pro and fabulous ambassador then they should be cherished not shown the door.

Tomlin is a good player but I wouldn't sign him. Why? Because you just don't know what you're going to get. Level of performance should not depend on the mood he turns up in or how many pies got smashed in the pub with the lads.

All I know is that there is nothing wrong with the clubs money on wage day! Why should the players performance be any less consistent?

Our best players were fat lads who had no issues with their fitness despite their build.As for attitude they all had a winning attitude which raised everyone else's game!
