McNair is about to sign for Boro which means Clayton will be allowed to go.

Notwithstanding the moans on signing midfielders we could use Clayton in the centre of the park.

Our Portugeezers can play anywhere across the front line and I think Matty Cash will be our wing back with Darikwa this season.

Not in my opinion granted attacking midfielders can play in wide positions and wingers can play through the middle but Zach clough is definitely not a winger for example there is a distinct difference in mentality and off the ball movement

It's pretty obvious that AK is targeting players who can move the ball quickly in possession and close down quickly. Lichaj Bridcutt Geddy are all off the pace when you look how Premiership and top European teams are setting up?
Clayton can pick a pass and move the ball quickly. Bamford is an intelligent striker to fit this system and Soudani to convert. We still need a big target man up front plus the new full backs and keeper.

The irony is that those moaning have got the best season card deal in the League to watch what is shaping up to be a proper football team.
So I say let them stick to their cheap stella while the boys start to play some sparkling football?

Red. I don't see the hype in your man bambi. Oh sorry I meant the next Sheringham. he couldn't tear paper nevermind the championship. Overpriced overhyped and not worthy of the garibaldi red.
As me and few of us keep saying we need a proven striker who wants to wear and earn his place not a player who previously played for us and who isn't up to the task in hand.

Well the way I see it is 8 million for bamford to much? In today's market probably not when you take into consideration boro payed 10 million for him is he the right player for forest ? Possibly he does have the ability to play in all four attacking positions in a 4231 formation which is what karanka is looking for
