Window has closed so we have not lost any we value. Looking forward to a couple more loans.

Noticed Leeds for all their huffing and puffing signed no-one else and will be chasing loans to complete their squad and get a few more out. So hopefully they will not be there at the business end and suffer burn out?

Looking like a bit of loan churning at West Brom and Swansea which should weaken them.

Villa and Boro seem to have done some decent business.

Stoke not done too muchso we will find out if Rowett is any good?

Direby have bought sloppy seconds and loans on mates rates so Lambpoo is going to find the going tough.

Let the games begin!

COYR's.

Derby won’t be as bad as you hope red. Think we need to get our own show on the road before we gloat too much about them

Time for the talking to stop from karanka.
He needs to start winning games and fast, the bottom line is he's won just five of twenty three games for us,enjoyed every minute against WBA and they are a good side, but it's wins that are required, no excuses for not getting three points Saturday, anything less and the pressure will start to mount on him, confident he'll get the three points if we perform anywhere near the level we did Tuesday.

Ff why are you mentioning results from last season? The players he bought in in January were not match fit and were having to learn Aitor's way of doing things while playing competitive football.

He has had a pre season to get over his ideas without worrying about the Championship, although it is two games and two draws both teams we faced were considered likely to be challenging for at the top six at the start of the season.

There have been times when we looked a possible top six side in both games. Results should only be considered from season, i'm sure that is the way the club sees it as well.

Stag it's a cop out to think like you mate,it's a result industry and he hasn't been getting those results.
Plenty of managers take over a club and don't spend anything and turn it around.
Bristol won't be anywhere near the playoffs this time around they've lost their best players, but I expect WBA to be up there.
He's got two new teams now and i like the way we played and have said so,but we have to beat the likes of reading at home, it's as simple as that or Mendes will use his replacement, that's football.

2star. Keogh is still their centre half. No way they will be better than last season. Not gloating just looking at the runners and riders and we are in a big tussle but we look good to be in the pack come May.

It is a results based industry, and you think WBA will be up there ff. They lost to Bolton at Home. Oh the pressure on their manager. 😁

Oh, damn the window! I was waiting for a Fawaz tweet or even better a Billy Davies transfer rant about the transfer panel.

Happy days :)

The phonebox has been dismantled from outside the City Ground, the eye testing equipment replaced, magic carpet mothballed and no-one at the club thinks they can walk on water!

Happy Days indeed
