Didn't Sam Byram play up at Leeds when he wanted a big money move?
I'd personally drop any interest in him as it seems more about money than anything.
Think he'll be trouble

Wonder if forest do there home work on players like clough and taylor did they would follow players around looking at there life style drinking habits etc i think they don't nowdays just thinking !!

Its clear we didn't want him on a perm just yet. We are looking at a loan with a view to buy. They were hoping to get rid before the deadline (thats why they dropped boro's name in to pressure us) We will get him on loan, he wants to come to us!

Why do you all instantly think it's about the players demands?

West Ham have blown over £100m in transfers and listed the players they wanted rid of which included Byram. They seem very good at paying over the odds and need to recoup as much of the cash as possible.

West Ham would have been hanging out to the last minute for a big fee we will have made our bid and clearly no one else came in to top it.

AK has clearly got the player on side to do the loan deal so this should go through probably with an option to buy unless West Ham are still playing silly beggars over a fee?

I now see that Sam Byram was at the City Ground yesterday waiting for West Ham to sanction a permanent move. As predicted they were looking for top dollar and Forest did not bite so a loan deal will now get done.

Just shows it's not always the player "being greedy" AK had done his homework and the guy wants to come. Get your knives out to Mistress Brady and her 2 minders instead!
