Forest passed 443 times. Birmingham passed 287 times. That then makes Forest having wasted 156 passes. If you have players with good technical skills then get them to work the ball better, not wasting time.

I’m sorry what? Forest wasted the difference between the two sides total passes? Where did you learn statistics? Forest had 72.7% pass accuracy meaning that around 121 passes went astray which to be honest is still wasteful but the stat also counts goal kicks, long balls and Ben Watson. So realistically speaking as we play a lot of little balls it’s not necessarily a great stat.

The only numbers that matter in football matches are the result. All other stats are rubbish

Floresta what good is a 72.7 % pass accuracy, and having 156 more passes than tbe opposition if you can not be more productive than we are. A Goalkeeper should be able to kick it fairly accurately, as for long balls if you are not accurate with it you will lose it, as possibly get hurt, if you can not pass it accurately long then why do it? If you play a lot of little balls and keep the ball tben the opposition can not hurt you, but it is about passing it to the right player, and either running at the opposition when they get it or passing it to a team mate in a forward position, who then goes on to do the same.
