New owner was straight and blunt when he employed Karanka. Promotion and play offs a must.
Karankas 4-2-3-1 formation is too defensive and will get a lot of draws.
Lack of strikers is a worry.
35 year old Murphy won't get a season.
Grabban to many injuries.
Karanka a nice guy but will be sacked before we get promotion. He's got time but not much. Feb/ march he be gone.

Karankas 4-2-3-1 is negative.
6 defensive minded players to start with.
Colback and Watson cannot play together.
Colback and Bridcutt is what it should be with geddy been out.
35 year old main striker is a major concern as well.

And when is this manager going to just admit to himself that Forest ALWAYS look better with Cash and Osbourne in the side. Their dynamic movement and energy are important to a side who want to move the ball quickly.

We are now 3 points off the bottom, i will be surprised if he survives the weekend. He might get the international break but then the owner might use this time to bed in a new manager. Too early i hear you say? But are we moving united in the same direction??? No chance. This squad is confused and directionless. Too many good players replaced with averageness.

It depends on how you play the 4-2-3-1 formation. Having 2 holding midfielders can work because you can push your full backs higher up. The alternative way to use the holding midfielders is to have one anchor and one Pirlo style role. The issue is Watson is too focused on trying to be the anchorman because he lacks the pace to cover the full backs and isn’t looking to pass it around like Reidy used to. I think having Bridcutt and Colback can work until Geddy is back. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our best two performances this season were when the Colback Watson combo weren’t playing.

Lower bc he will be gone by october the owner don't suffer fools gladly 20 mill is a lot of dosh if he is sacked but to be honest I've not seen much improvment apart from the wba game
