The real script was an Aitor masterclass in how to play away from home, contain a team, concede possession, frustrate the home fans and nick the points in the style of OBE.

Except we were playing CHEATING Leeds!

One of the most disciplined performances I have watched from Forest closing down in all areas of the pitch in a game played at high tempo for 95 minutes.

Despite conceding possession it never felt like Forest were going to concede and the Leeds fans do not have any real belief in their team despite their usual partisan noise. Forest were always more comfortable on the ball.

AK had done his homework and everyone put in a very well drilled solid shift in what should have been a classic 0-1 and goodnight.

The back four were awesome although a little unbalanced after Fox went off. The four in front closed like tigers leaving Pants with little to worry him. Cav and Grab gave their back 3 the jitters in possession.

So nervous were the natives about our visit they even over watered the pitch at the start of both halves to frustrate our counter attacks playing on the turn which cost us 3 or 4 good breaks with players slipping and then to cap it all Hoofer Roofer throws the ball into the net!

The red trousers worn with pride merged into an East Stand crowd full of red faces with the realisation that the Cheating Lilywhites are once again flattering to deceive! They do not have any player better than any of ours

Not quite as satisfying as 7-3 but a very good second.

Forest were more comfortable on the ball????? We never had it! Grabban worked his socks off but Carvalho was anonymous again.

Cant agree with you more we did a fantastic job defending but would do so much better if we could hold on to the ball for longer and put more than two passers together,we give the ball straight back to the opposing team.

Cavs kept closing Phillips down who they use to start most of their moves to the point they took him off.
For all their possession Leeds passing was as predictable and ineffective as a Warburton team against a team whose players were technically better.
A good game of chess that we deserved to win on the basis of a better game plan!

great battling performance kept shape throughout and so many great blocks / tackles.
