I think the first half of the season needs some perspective we are 7th . Only two other teams have lost 4 games - Middlesbrough and Norwich. Our goal difference is the same or better as the 4 teams above us. Where we are down is of course the games we drew. Apart from Osborn and Cash no other player was in this team a year ago.

From our Greek owner down to users of this site, this can't be seen other than a complete turnaround for our team. AK wants players that commit 100%, he says that time and time again. Anyone who was at the match would agree that the teams enthusiasm from a high on Monday dropped to a low on Saturday. Were they worn out? We now have 3 consecutive matches for AK and his team to prove they have the desire. Norwich will be a difficult test as to a lesser extent will Millwall.

If they are not fired up however to beat Leeds and give Mr Roofe his come uppance I would be disappointed to say the least. AK has done a significant amount already let's hope he can continue to get consistency out of them.

In my opinion the reason we have drawn so many games is the players think they have the game won before stepping out on the pitch, or they tried to protect a one goal lead.

Doc m did you see leeds play villa despite going down 2 nil they were relentless if forest are not up for it we will be hammered.

LC, I agree. It's that fine line between confidence and arrogance. The players have to grasp the simple fact, you earn the right to win a football match.

I am up and down with AK. A few weeks ago we were 2 points off top now we are 13 and 12 respectively. His stubbornness with playing the likes of pants and carvalaho is costing us valuable points. He won't change and when he does its nuts like yesterdays subs. What was all that about? I really want to believe he knows what he is doing but sadly he is a sulker and beligerent.

On a side note Grabban scores when its on a plate, fair play for a poacher but other than lolley where do the opportunist goals come from? We are still lacking in that dept. too so on reflection, we are back to being inconsistent and can't score. Not real progress

Rutland, the thing with Grabban is that's exactly what he is, a poacher. And a good one. So why aren't we playing his strengths? We should be playing 433 with 2 fast wingers either side of him, providing him with tap in oppertunities. But instead its like we are playing 451 and just kicking it up to Grabban and expecting him to run on to everything and create all his own chances.
