Anigo is a French manager with a very uninspiring CV last managed in Greece.

We have a new DoF so we should not need help with transfers if he is any good unless he has been appointed to do his old job to fix the computers in the office?

Report says a GK, def, mid and a winger. Aren't we full up in midfield? Why a winger we nèd a fast strong down the middle striker.

Jose Anigo hasn't been hired to oversee domestic transfers, that's for sure, unless Mr Marinakis is completely inept. It would appear that the board forced AK in to a corner and expected him to bow to their way of working, he honourable stuck to his morals and walked away, the problem is, it wouldn't appear the board expected him to make that decision so have been caught off guard scrambling for further representatives to do their dealings. Quite a turbulant time for forest but i'm hoping it's just a bump in the road and the board can redeem themselves very soon with a solid manager appointment, and some signing who come good.

Gazza what I don’t get is when someone employs me to do a job , i expect to have to work in the manner they want the job doing, this is usually sorted when the job is accepted, why do football managers not expect to do the same?

Most managers do Stevie, you don't see many criticise the owners or walk out,his mate had a habit of critising at man Utd and Chelsea though.🤔

You see meaty that sort of short term contract could just be the answer, whoever the manager would be.

Give big Sam a bonus for promotion?what message does that send out to the players who are doing the graft on the pitch, scoring the goals keeping clean sheets.he would have to offer all the players a big bonus as well.
Yes but his job title changed a few months into the season with someone else doing the dealings

THis is why I say karanka as done the dirty on all us fans that gave him so much support when he was rumoured to be sacked, I didn’t like him or his negative tactics but he was our manager so I supported him, I’m fuming that he’s walked away from our great club cus he couldn’t be arsed to even give it a go with the dof even tho he was hired to win football matches that was it, we need a new man in by Monday to get us ready for Bristol oh n we will prob have to play 4 mids at the back lol good jobs we got about 20 of em lol

Stevie - Karanka was set expectations when he joined - that was promotion in 2 and a half years. But the owners (just like previous owners) have got impatience far too soon, much to the detriment of the club. Sound familiar? Yes he's invested over 20m this season, but when 18m of that was on two players alone, you start to understand why we still do not have much depth in quality. Nowadays in the Championship, you can't throw a few mil at it and get instant success in return. In Greece you can, in Kuwait you can, but not in the Championship.

That's what these forgein owners struggle with. If marinakis had been an avid forest supporter as long as many of us, he would have been able to see that the progress the club had made since he's been in ownership had been quite rapid and that he was best to leave the formula alone and let the club keep growing with stability. Like I said in my earlier post, let's hope this is a bump in the road and not history repeating itself.

That seems to suit the krankie fans when you say he was given 2 years to sort the team out if I remember right the last 10 managers were given the same with a lot less money that's life and business get over it

If i remember right, Warburton said the goalposts were moved during his stay with us.
