With Colback you can only guarantee the number of games it takes him to get the required number of yellow card, and then her's out of the team. He's also prone to red cards. So is Benalouane.

Sheffield United managed it and for a lot less money. They got low paid free transfers and won promotion. Overpaid PL players are not the answer especially ones who get booked 15 times.

Good player no doubt but I can se why Raffa doesn't rate him,he has no pace when up against a tricky opponent and McGinn showed him up big time for that.
Not worth more than 15k a week and that hurts me to say that but its modern day football.

Liam bridcutt was growing into the role end of previous season. Better mobility than colback. Landsbury was better than both on his day, good collector of yellows too. But colback is not worth the wages. Sorry but at nearly 30 he is after money not passion for promotion.
