Notts county will go bust before the season starts
Hardy has no more funds and no bargaining time

That's been the out turn for months!

As soon as Hardy's business funding company went into admin no interested party in the club was going to take it on.

The South Africans have put themselves into poll position to pick up the pieces ahead of the tyre kickers. Hardy and the club have no assets and Council consent as land owner will be required.

July will be administration, Hardy out, new owner, 12 point deduction and the long road back!

As the Capital of the East Midlands the City needs two football league clubs for all to prosper..

Do not mock as Forest have been on the brink more than once!

RIE, for all of the banter, 2 clubs is better for the City than 1.

Why does 2 teams make the city of Nottingham better? It’s horrible what’s happening to some clubs and inforces why English football teams should be part owned by fans like in Germany, but to get back to my point about the 2 teams, even if Notts county weren’t here it would still be a fantastic sporting city and with plenty of other things to do aswell

You only have to live in Leeds or Newcastle to understand why only having one club in a regional capital holds the city back and makes it inward looking because of lack of competition!

Poppy cock red, that is a sweeping statement without merit.

2star, My comment is based on living and working around the country especially in Leeds and Newcastle.

Your comment typifies a local inward looking mindset. If we had two successful football clubs the city would be booming!

Red you make no sense whatsoever with those comments, yourchoice to live elsewhere but don't judge us with what you live with.
I'm Nottingham born and bred and still live in your so called fish bowl and I love it.

Newcastle and Leeds have far greater economic diversity than Nottm , I think I’m reading that one club create a parochial city and economic obscurity , that view doesn’t represent the diversity of those two cities at all .

The county fans and owner are getting what they deserve.i would be bothered but after the way they acted towards us even after we help save them last time they can do one.

Sutton / Darren, allow me a place at your table to be unified in raising a cup of rejoice at the plight of the sadpies. As you say couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch.

2star maybe you would like to elaborate on statement that Newcastle has more economic diversity than Nottingham ?the 2cities are pretty similar in size, if anything I would say it was the other way around ,there seems to be a myth that Newcastle is a big city ,Leeds on the other hand is much bigger than both
