Everything seems great throughout the squad for a change everyone seems to be playing great as well so sl must have a headache a good headache on who to play against Preston will be another toughie but we must be high in confidence after the last couple of games be nice to get a good unbeaten run together 😁.

Watson along with Dawson and Worrall have been outstanding!
Last week at Fulham they limited Fulham to two attempts on goal despite 78% possession.

I know you didn’t mention Dawson and Worrall. But the three are a unit. and Watson orchestrates play. He is the brains of the team.
But, I agree at 35 he can’t play every game.

The problem with Watson he does the covering role in that midfield. His positioning and breaking up play is vital. It always a role that's totally unappreciated by most fans because he isn't running with the ball, making defence breaking passes and scoring goals. Other players may have more flair but do they have the defensive nous that Watson has. That's the key to his position and the excellent defensive record at the moment and I wish more fans would appreciate that istead of putting him down.
