Sako will be a Forest player within 24hrs, personal terms finally agreed, Forest courtesy car waiting at Molineux ready to take him to the CC for his medical, should be available Saturday!

{Ed034's Note - last one until evidence is available

1.) 03 Oct 2013
Didn't he call in sick today. Why would there be a car waiting there for him.

Dazza

2.) 03 Oct 2013
Either this rumour or the white Ferrari are wrong? Hope we have him in by Saturday, last year he was fantastic for wolves and has started well this season. Well worth the money for me, can play out wide or up top. Wolves bought him expecting to go straight back up, premiership class!

3.) 03 Oct 2013
FFP should not be an issue with Fawaz's sponsorship as it club income and he can make it what he likes. The difference is that it is a permanent payment to the club unlike Nigels financing which was a loan and therefore repayable and not income.

4.) 03 Oct 2013
Was told last night was a done deal, just been told the deal is dead so I give up and so should Forest.

5.) 03 Oct 2013
Looks like deal is OFF. wolves playing silly buggers.

6.) 03 Oct 2013
I don't think this is as close as people make out.

I think there could be some disappointed Forest fans very soon.

Including me

7.) 03 Oct 2013
Ed- Glad you are putting a stop to the same old rumours, why don't the people starting the rumours give us a source, gives them more credibility?
P. S ED, do you think we will win away the weekend?

{Ed034's Note - any result away from home is a good one, but we might just see a more attacking forest than last two games

8.) 03 Oct 2013
Go see paul Taylor's posts on the bird site re sponsorship money. He can't pump in "whatever he likes", the money involved in the deal has to be at market level, more or less what john pye paid, so no, FFP is still going to be tricky if we don't go up

{Ed034's Note - that is why it was so important to get all home games live in Kuwait as it pushed our market value up in a huge way

9.) 03 Oct 2013
But surely "market value" is a subjective concept? If Fawaz decides to pay £20 million to rename a stand the Fawaz stand, arguing that by found so his profile in Kuwait is raise,. then who can argue otherwise? I just don't see how the ffp will work if a rich owner wants to get around it!

10.) 03 Oct 2013
Not according to EMT earlier!

11.) 03 Oct 2013
Ed's right, new television rights with Al Jazeera has increased our market value and will hopefully found a middle eastern support for the club increasing it further

12.) 03 Oct 2013
Its off, end of, better players out there for less money. move on Forest

13.) 03 Oct 2013
FFP - As Ed says, if Al Jazeera do have rights to screen matches in Kuwait or worldwide it increases your market value immensely as more people get to see the sponsors name. Advertising is the same all around the world - the more people get to see it, the more t costs.

14.) 03 Oct 2013
The only person who can push this through is Sako himself by telling Wolves he wants to come to Forest.

15.) 03 Oct 2013
I heard he drives a new shape fiesta

16.) 03 Oct 2013
Market value?
Profitability might be a good place to start unless were selling the club? lol
Your clearly not qualified to be giving financial advice.

17.) 04 Oct 2013
We're not talking about market value of the club are we, we're talking about market value of a sponsorship deal, ( for those of you with a thick skull that means how much you have to pay a club to sponsor them ), don't come in halfway through a thread and not read all of it before commenting

{Ed034's Note - not sure were this is all going but our market value increased as soon as we signed the deal to have all of our homes games shown live on al jeezera, meaning the value of the sponsorship deal got bigger.
