I would rather play in a team that is currently in the PL and fight for my place. Dropping down a division show a lack of ambition in a player. His manager has said he is good enough and part of his plans.

I wouldn't agree dropping a division shows a lack of ambition. Agree some players would rather play for a pl team but others want to go and play first team football rather than reserves and benchwarming every week. And there's nothing to say the team you drop a division to isn't going to end up promoted back to the premier league anyway. ! You reds
