All that clubs who won't play players or let them go out on loan just cheese them off and they leave a club at the end of the season for nothing. They have wasted the wages they have paid the player

Seem to remember us doing that with wilson

Brunt out with medial ligament damage. Why would they loan out a midfielder in their precarious league position?

4.) 13 Mar 2014
Brunts now out for several weeks so they will want to keep dorrans

5.) 13 Mar 2014
Despite all the talk and rumours, we have never gone in for Dorrans. We asked to be kept informed about Dawson and showed an interest in Dorrans for summer as his contract expires. Apart from Geddy we have not made any moves for any other midfielders it is all gossip. You only have to read comments by BD before his exile and by Ned to see that. They are using what they have, for what ever reason.

{Ed034's Note - davies stated in an interview that we have tried to get players in on loan, not a player

I stated on another thread that we have been turned down 4 times in attempt's to bring in player's on loan, this now turned into 6 times.
Billy boy is getting frustrated in his attempts to bring in player's.
He is still trying to get Geddy and Dorrans, but neither of these look likely.

I can imagine it's not that easy to get good loans in. If they offer too much wages then it can upset the current players egos and cause problems. We all want to see money spent and players arrive to steady the ship but not at the expense of team harmony (assuming there is harmony now!)
Offer too little and we get knocked back.
It will be an absolute miracle to get promoted this year with the problems we've had. Despite the fact my mrs is singing in the shower-it's not over yet!
