Not an inspiring signing, however, it is another body and someone who is functional at the minute. Jara at DM is fine, when the likes of Lansbury and Reid are playing, otherwise I am not convinced by him there. Any more news on Lansbury?

He got subbed at half time against Bolton for Byram when 1-0 down and they went down to 10 men when 2-0 against Wed. You going to judge him on those 2 games and forget every decent game he has had? Well done.

He's horrendous in the holding role, ed. If we're attempting to salvage something from this season, that's the position we absolutely must fill via the loan market. If we don't, we're just wasting money.

As a leeds fan I would say he is solid enough as centre back and average as right back. He will never go forward but will very rarely make a mistake. Warnock does play him left back sometimes though where he was dreadful which was why he was hated at the start of last season. Now I am confused as to why we let a decent player go.

And me, my Leeds fan mate describes him as erratic and distinctly average - ok for a lower Championship team!
