Looks like Rafik's just a loan. we'll see now if Fawaz has learnt his lesson re transfers at the end of the season

I would still like to see him have a run out in team all the talk about having no strikers all year is a massive confidence knock for the strikers we have. Look at Chelsea, they have Torres who they paid 50 million ish for and by all accounts when confident he is world class but he's done nothing because. Of confidence.

Like I've said all along from when I watched him on his debut against Yeovil- looks more like "The Terrible" than "The Terrorist"!

Tap/ willow- how can you say that?! fact is you don't know, none of us do. billy petulantly left him out week after week even though we couldn't (can't?) score for toffee!
he'll get a run no doubt n when he does i for one would like to see him smash um in.
why not play him? he literally can't be any worse than what we've got.
i didn't see coxy or mackie score at the training sesh the other day we saw djebbour score tho. can't remember if hendo scored so obv not as i recall!
djebbour was sound with us fans too. so how's he terrible? how should we hope we've wasted about 2 mill? how's it good for us when we need quality, depth, experience which he has.
like i say nobody knows, really, what he offers and if he'd do well for us. i'd play him for every match for the whole of brazil's short reign if i was him i really think brazil has missed a trick - nowt to lose, imagine if dhebbour reacted well he could've fired us to the play offs again instead we go with the same three or four that have had to rely on the midfielders to score all season?!
yes i know that mackie and cox graft and they're good 'honest' footlballers
thing is all season i've shouted at the first xi to "just put it in the onion bag" fact remains i've seen djebbour 'in the flesh' twice this season and twice he's put it in the onion bag!
we have nothing to lose nothing give him a shot! if he doesn't score? so what i'd put my mortgage on cox, hendo or mackie not having scired either!

Fully agree with the above post. He's not been given a chance. Does anyone know why he's out of favour? BD didn't play him because he was disruptive apparently. Was that the real reason? Anyone throw any light on it?

While I agree with notts loyal I have to piont out one thing I've been telling everbody for at least a month. most of the signings Fawaz hs made this season have bee loans with a view to permanent. and Rafiq falls into this catergory.

I agree with the above posts, the guy at least deserves a chance. Sorry, but the rest of our strikers are just not doing it. Do not know why GB has not taken the opportunity to play him, instead of the usual rubbish we have been playing upfront week in week out.

Results have again gone our way. Can't see Ipswich getting anything at Watford. Win tomorrow and beat leeds on Monday playoffs could be on again. Brighton at home to Blackpool, yuk big game for the seasiders.

Majewski? You having a laugh or you must be being sarcastic? I'd say he's crap but he's not even that good! Worst under performer and biggest let down of the season. Keep Peltier in-he ain't doing bad and with reference to the above post who needs to register-I'm all for giving Djebbour a chance up front if he could find the onion bag and I'd love him to be a success but as yet he's not done much to impress but given a run in the team then who knows. Would be great to see the bearded magician supplying the bullets bcus Djebbour and Abdoun were brill together at Olympiacos. Cox and Hendo have had enough chances to shine but keep fluffing their lines so a change could and would be good.

Radi had been crap all season but we all know he has the ability, that is the frustrating thing. I like the team jay is suggesting. Peltiet has not done much wrpng since he joinef but he ain't a match winner. Maybe just maybe its radi's time to shine with vaghan lansbury and reid back.

I will judge Rafik when he misses the sitters that Cox and co have missed week after week. I've not seen enough of him yet and I can't recall him even having half a chance at goal yet, apart from the goal he got.

I think there is proof Billy had a problem with him because he played a defender up front rather then strikers. Yes he scored 3 goals but not giving one of the strikers a run is ridiculous. All those that say great servant etc. Are missing the point it was Billy being petulant playing him.

I don't get how some of you on here can slate the bloke that he's no good that when he plays he doesn't get the ball passed to him. The few times I have seen him play he's been making dangerous run around the box and getting into good positions but not getting the ball. The guy needs a chance to show his quality he's only played what 6-7 games and which most of are 10min sub appearances! He needs time to settle same as abdoun and they'll come good with a pre season under their belts!

I quite agree that the terrorist has not had the opportunity to shine - 10 minutes here and there is not enough to prove your ability. Look at Derbyshire - given an opportunity to play he is putting the ball in the bag when given to him, like he did pre-season so the question should be why did BD not continue with Dernyshire when the league started? BD was to blame - to me he has always been the nearly man with an ego bigger than the club. Good riddance I say and thank you for not getting us promoted again!
